Preparation of calcium aluminate powder by bauxite powder grinding:

(1) Bauxite homogenization treatment: put the bauxite solid particles into the automatic homogenizing raw material warehouse, homogenize them through transmission, standing and gravity mixing, control the fluctuation of AL2O3 of low-grade bauxite solid particles within ± 0.5% of the required value, and control the fluctuation of CaO of limestone within ± 0.25% of the required value, so as to effectively stabilize the reactant composition;

(2) Raw material grinding and matching: put limestone and low-grade bauxite solid particles into jaw crusher and hammer crusher respectively for coarse crushing and secondary crushing to obtain low-grade bauxite solid particles and limestone solid particles with particle size of 3mm, and then put low-grade bauxite solid particles and limestone particles into the bauxite grinding machine for grinding according to the requirements of raw material calcium oxide, The raw meal with fineness<12% (0.08mm square mesh sieve residue) is obtained;

(3) Raw meal preheating: put the raw meal into the preheater, control the kiln tail gas at＞ 900℃, and preheat and decompose for 20~30min;

(4) Raw meal burning: send the preheated and decomposed raw meal into the rotary kiln for burning, the temperature in the rotary kiln is 1300~1400 ℃, and the clinker is obtained after sintering for 25~30min;

(5) Finished product grinding: grind the calcined clinker to a powder with fineness below 30% (0.08mm square hole sieve residue) through bauxite clinker grinding equipment to obtain gray calcium aluminate powder.
